    Day 2: Tuesday, April 11, 2006

The guys are still sleeping soundly in their bed...

There is a secondary school, located just next to our condominium, every morning, we've got free alarm.

Me, trying to open up my new water bottle, apparently it's more for drinking tea, as there's a compartment where you can place your tea leaves in it, and you can still get your tea without having your mouth come into contact with the tea leaves! =) Yes China ppl loves drinking tea!!!

Another candid shot, thanks to QinSheng. See the right hand side, it's where the guys hang their coats / jackets / etc etc.

Qinsheng & Cyn posing with the name of our condominium - Chang Fa Hua Yuan.

Can you see how cold is it? Look at the buildings in the background it's all blurred!

Me & Ziming taking a pic at our balcony =) BTW, we eventually turn our balcony into a service yard = where we hang our clothes! *LOL

    Time to Explore our Neighbourhood!!
Ain't this beautiful? This nice and pretty flowers can be found just right on the side of the pavement! It really beautify the place. =)

    *hahaz... Ziming & Qinsheng...

Me & Cynthia! With the pretty flowers.

We happen to passby a cafe called Marco Polo, and decided to drop in to have our afternoon tea break. =)
    So relaxing...

    The interior of the cafe...

How outside looks like from where we seat...
This is a "cinema" that is located just right behind our condominium.

We did went there to catch a movie once. =)

On-going of construction of the road, very noisy, dirty and dusty. And I can't locate any difference after the construction was completed.

This is the kitchen of one of the "restaurant" located near our house, actually it's between our house and our office, we'll passby everyday to get our breakfast.

This is a booth selling our equivalent Toto, 4D and Big Sweep.

This is a stretch of shops where we buy our usual small groceries and fruits! This is actually their "wet market" area, but we being Singaporean prefer heading to Carrefour for our monthly groceries shopping!

    Antique Phone Booth!!!
And the guys seems to had real fun around and in it!

    Their Cross-Junction

    Candid Shot.
Their Kindgerten. So colorful, pretty and attractive. More like those high-class ones in Singapore, not those "PAP" ones.
Rich man's House. Super nice and unique!
    Bus-Stop.
Unique house... Not suitable for tall people haha... =P
The long stretch that we need to take daily to go home... Our condominium is right deep inside.

    Went Downtown!

Went to town to look for Ricky and Jarrel, our other 2 flatmates who are working at, was it call City Hall as well? Can't really remember...

Eating at their EXPENSIVE foodcourt, exactly same price as Singapore! And back then - 2006, they already are using those stored cards = our Kopitiam Card now.

Their city landscape, so nice and colourful... how can Singapore compare?
The Guys: Jarrel, Ziming, Qinsheng & Ricky.
Nanjing Pedestrian Walkway!!! Neon lights everywhere...

Aren't the guys cute? I love the floor, every few secs, the lights on the floor will change, very interesting and nice.

Because of this pic we've actually missed out bus, and we din even know, waited there aimlessly for nothing...
